I found the drum set for the wii (brand new) at the "guitar hero store" online for 84.99...free shipping from UPS.
Ridiculous for one seller to sell it (drums only) for 142.99....

Got this set for Christmas and THOUGHT I'd have fun with them...but the red pad quit working after just a few uses. I'll be returning them, but now Amazon doesn't have them in stock...NOBODY has them in stock! Did they discontinue them? I hope not - I want a replacement set!!!

 Unresponsive pads miss many beats December 19, 2009

Pros: These can be used on both Rock Band Wii games and on Guitar Hero Wii games (Rock Band equipment can only be used for Rock Band Wii games). The pads do provide a nice rebound and are quieter and more realistic than the Rock Band drum.
Con: They simply don't provide any reliability in actually registering the beats when you play the game. Ironically, they do better on the Rock Band games than they do on the Guitar Hero games. I have found this drum kit to be so bad on Guitar Hero games that it is simply unplayable -- I only use it now to play Rock Band, and it still misses registering a good 5-6 beats per song. I have had Rock Band 1 drums, Rock Band 2 Drums, and these drums. After scouring to find a decent affordable drum kit, I have concluded that none exists yet. Your best bet is probably to buy a Rock Band 1 drum kit, and then buy some metal reinforcements for the bass pedal, as the bass pedal WILL break.
