THIS IS A PIECE OF JUNK!!!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!! August 27, 2010 G. Gordy (Atlanta) This item is a piece of junk. I had to have the manufacturer send out 2 replacements and out of all 3 NONE of them worked. Item did not hold a charge for longer than 30 minutes and when hooked up directly it was constantly cutting off on me. You would be better off buying rechargable AA batteries!!!!
Won't Work January 9, 2010 Velsie Gentry I bought this and let it charge up, put it in my Balance Board and nothing happened. I also bought another to give as a gift. The joke was on me cause neither one of them worked!
Nice Wii Fit Charger! November 4, 2009 M. Appachu (Newington, CT USA) Nice product, it charges your wii fit board.. you just plug it in and you can do your wii fit excercising. I have had it for almost a year now and it still works so it's a great product for anyone!
Broke Quickly September 7, 2009 M. A. Engelke This thing is a piece of junk. It completely died after 2 months, and won't charge any longer.
Did it Break my Balance Board Sensor June 10, 2009 K. Johnson 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Used this in my Wii Fit Board for approximately 2 months with no problem (other than the Battery pack doesn't hold charge for very long). Then one of the Right-hand-side sensors stopped working. Apparently there have been others with the same problem. It's possible that some of these battery packs are shorting out the Balance Board sensor circuitry?
Condition during sensor shorting out: Balance Board used on Carpet without the feet. Silicon cover. 20 minutes into workout. Battery pack in Board and connected (plugged in) via the USB cable into a nearby computer. (Since the battery pack does not hold a charge for very long... I usually had this same setup). Board suddenly acting funny. Did a board sensor analysis (in the options menu of Wii Fit game), and showed Rear Right hand sensor was dead.
I'm not sure if the battery pack was to blame... but others are having similar anecdotal stories. I will remain unsure until I see a statistical analysis of how many boards break without the battery pack compared to boards breaking while using the battery pack.
