2 out of 5 stars Not a functional overall package...   March 15, 2010

I bought the dreamGEAR 9-in-1 package in a store and thought I was getting a great deal. I love the gel slip skins for the controllers and the batteries do hold charge for a good amount of time. The thing I don't like about the package is that it comes with the skins, rechargeable batteries, charging dock, and the wrist straps; however you can't sync your wii remote to a console unless you put other batteries in, as the rechargeable ones are connected to the back, so when you take the back off, the remote is not functional. Also, you can't charge the batteries if the skin is on the remote because it will not fit in the charging dock, even though there is a hole in the skin so the recharging prongs are accessible. It also will not fit in the dock if the wrist strap is on for the same reason, it does not fit into the charging dock with it. So basically, to recharge the battery you have to peel the skin up far enough to fit the remote in the dock, then when done, pull it back down, but in doing that the fragile skin may get torn, which mine did after about 8 charges. So if you don't mind having to take a bunch of steps to play with other friends' wii or to recharge your batteries, this is a good buy, otherwise find a recharging package elsewhere...
